The Green Bay Packers are doubling B.J. Raji’s snap schedule this week and limiting him to only defensive end to get him ready for the regular-season opener just around the corner.
Rookie Raji is ready to anchor DL with Pickett and Jenkins
Raji missed the first two weeks of training camp while his contract was negotiated, so the Packers are walking a fine line the last three weeks of camp: Trying to get the No. 9 pick overall in the draft ready for extensive playing time against the Chicago Bears
on Sept. 13 without getting him injured from overwork.
