Packers 21, Bears 15: Better Late Than Never

With one perfect throw, Aaron Rodgers wiped away the bane of his 2008 season and got the Green Bay Packers off to a fast start in 2009.

The Packers’ quarterback, who was unable to finish any late game-winning drives in seven opportunities last year, wasn’t as sharp Sunday night as he’d been in the preseason.

But with the game on the line, he hit the Chicago Bears with a 50-yard touchdown pass to Greg Jennings with 1 minute, 11 seconds to play that gave the Packers a 21-15 win at Lambeau Field over an NFC North Division rival with high aspirations of its own for 2009.
