CB Al Harris overcomes the refs to seal the deal with the 4th Int of the night from Bears "Savior" QB Jay Cutler

This was the kind of game the Green Bay Packers would have lost a year ago.
That’s why their last-minute 21-15 victory over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night at Lambeau Field was so gratifying to the Packers.

They lived through the agony in 2008 of losing eight games when the outcome was in doubt in the waning moments. But if their season-opening triumph over the Bears is any indication, the Packers learned from that adversity and are stronger because of it.

“I think it starts with the identity of our football team,” said coach Mike McCarthy, who pointed to stellar play by the defense and special teams that kept the Packers in the game until the offense could steady itself in the final two minutes.

Make no mistake, the offense was mired in a game-long stupor and didn’t resemble the fine-tuned machine that trampled preseason opponents.  Full story from Mike here
