LT Chad Clifton Won’t Play: Jared Allen Smiling

Barring a sudden change in fortune, Chad Clifton won’t play Monday night when the Green Bay Packers meet the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome.
That means the Packers will have to start converted guard Daryn Colledge at left tackle against Pro Bowl right defensive end Jared Allen.

Chad Clifton appears to be out again for the Monday Night tilt
Coach Mike McCarthy indicated that he was fairly encouraged after Clifton tested his sprained right ankle Thursday. McCarthy referred to Clifton’s rehabilitation Friday morning as “a little bit of a setback.”
