Oh I agree that the refs and ref union has also been greedy. Those guys are part time refs, and they get paid a lot.
I have been on the side of the NFL as much as I can because those guys, as I said, are part timers who already have real jobs and should have real pensions, etc.

This economy is not strong, and they have been too greedy.

But there’s greed on every side in the NFL, from owners to players to agents to refs, to all unions. All unions.

The onus is on the NFL for providing competent refs out there period end of discussion.

Goodell and the NFL is correct in demanding that the refs become full time employees of the NFL.

The result of this game is based on greed, certainly. Both sides are being too greedy, though, not just the NFL. So, if you wanna give thanks, deal it out equally, please, and keep your integrity.

With Lovie Smith & Mike McCarthy showing their protocol as coaches should, following the
behavior of San Francisco”s coach”s tantrum, I’m disappointed in the referees not telling
the coach to cool his attitude,
Let’s go back to #52-Mathew”s going after QB A. Smith he couldn’t stop after QB threw the
ball. Well Harbaugh was up in arm’s with the Ref’s and continued his antics through-out the
first quarter until he owned the whole crew lo
ck-stock- and -barrel.
This man is no fool. He’s not a coach he’s a manipulator

That’s true Nic, but it’s rare for the Packers to have a pick in the top-5 of a draft, and when you look at the players like Ngata or Vernon Davis, who were physical specimens, who were taken right after the pick, it doesn’t look good for Hawk who is just a guy.

But you are right, he has been very serviceable and durable. Doesn’t make many big plays, but he’s solid enough.

I do like his old longer hair though.

AJ Hawk doesn’t deserve to be anywhere near this list… especially when you left off Wayne Simmons, who had only 68 tackles and 4 sacks in his BEST season in Green Bay. Even if he didn’t live up to all of his expectations, AJ Hawk has still has 3 years of 100+ tackles and has been the Packers leading tackler for for half the seasons hes played in GB… not exactly a “bust.”

I don’t count lost causes. What is important how we learn from defeat is it taste awful.
The whole team is working on the right way to fix what should never have taken place.
We built a offense that turned offensively too good with no mind for defensive preparing.
Football is a double duty sport you can favor one over the other, however both have to be
practiced and fudging on one will do you in.
Our front office went out to change the menu. Let the new look begin.
